01 Product Overview

The Zhuniu PP Hollow Plastic Formwork Panel is an eco-friendly, high-strength concrete formwork board extruded from engineering polypropylene (PP) with a hollow-cavity cross-section. Designed as a sustainable replacement for plywood, timber and plywood-faced panels, it pairs outstanding structural rigidity with minimal self-weight.

The hollow structure keeps the panel light (about 8 kg/m2) while maintaining high bending and impact strength. It resists water, corrosion, mildew and deformation, strips cleanly from concrete with no release agent, and delivers a smooth fair-faced finish. At the end of its service life, every panel and off-cut is 100% recyclable and re-extruded into new boards - a true low-waste, replace-timber-with-plastic formwork solution.

06 FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: What is a PP hollow board?

A PP hollow board (also called a hollow plastic formwork panel or hollow PP sheet) is an extruded construction board made of engineering polypropylene with a continuous hollow-cavity, twin-wall cross-section. The hollow core keeps the panel light while maintaining high bending strength, so it is used as a reusable concrete formwork panel that replaces plywood and timber sheets.

Q2: What is the price of PP hollow board?

The price depends on thickness, sheet size, order quantity and your destination. Standard sheets (1220 x 2440 mm, 10-20 mm thick) are quoted per square meter, and larger or repeat orders qualify for volume discounts. Please send us your required sizes and quantity for a detailed FOB / CIF quotation.

Q3: What is PP board material?

PP board material is polypropylene (PP), a tough, chemical-resistant and fully recyclable thermoplastic. Zhuniu extrudes it with premium stabilizers and impact modifiers to deliver high tensile and bending strength, reliable waterproof performance and a service life of 30 to 50+ reuse cycles in concrete formwork.

Q4: What is the corrugated plastic board called?

The corrugated or hollow plastic board used in construction formwork is commonly called a hollow plastic formwork panel, PP hollow sheet, twin-wall plastic board or corrugated plastic sheet. In formwork applications it is often referred to simply as a plastic formwork panel.

Q5: What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Our standard MOQ is based on a workable order (one pallet for domestic use, or one full container for export). Trial and mixed orders can be discussed. Tell us your target quantity and destination, and we will confirm the best arrangement.

Q6: What is the lead time / delivery time?

Standard sizes are usually ready in 7-15 working days, while custom sizes and large orders take around 15-25 working days depending on quantity. A confirmed production and shipping schedule is provided together with your quotation.

Q7: Do you provide free samples?

Yes, sample panels are available for your on-site testing. The sample and freight cost are quoted separately, and the sample fee can be refunded against your subsequent bulk order.

Q8: Can you custom sizes and thickness?

Yes. We stock standard sheets (1220 x 2440 mm and 915 x 1830 mm, 10-20 mm thick) and can cut to size or adjust thickness to your formwork drawings under our OEM / ODM service.

Q9: What payment terms do you accept?

For export orders we normally accept T/T (30% deposit, 70% balance before shipment), and L/C at sight for large orders. Other payment terms can be discussed case by case.

Q10: Do you ship to my country, and what shipping terms?

We export to 50+ countries and support FOB, CIF and DAP terms. Just tell us your destination port or project address, and we will quote the delivered cost and arrange the shipment.

Q11: How do I clean and maintain the panels?

No release agent is needed. After pouring, simply scrape off concrete residue and wash the panel with water. Store flat, away from direct sunlight and sharp objects; no painting or oiling is required.

Q12: What is the shelf life / storage requirement?

Unused panels have a long shelf life when stored flat, dry and out of direct UV sunlight. On site, keep them stacked flat and covered, and avoid prolonged bending or heavy point loading.
